Old Lost Days (1998 - 2002)

1.
The log entry number is lost I can't remember time better spent Beautiful colors, a hallucination Now let us share, now let us share We're soaking in altered states And drowned in cliches Everything is as it seems You arise drawn wide open And drawn in regret As you wake from the dream The heights lure and warn But I won't fear the heights And I won't fear falling Beautiful terror, a hallucination Folks will conceal And will secrets to their heirs With words I cannot do justice To dreams worth living And lives left fleeing But I will not flee Everything is as it seems You arise drawn wide open After you wake from the dream It's as good as a memory Now encounter a crowd of flesh and hair Drool in a hunger, a search for familiar Beautiful lover, a hallucination I am more than torn I'm begging and bleeding I will peel the skin back from my face like a mask Just to soak fear in oil, and drown love in water I will rewind the tape, I will try to erase All I can offer for my mistakes is apology A hand in apology And a hand in regret

Who will be the last to hear the stories told of old lost days? And old long age is coming carrying away our last escape Passing to the past, only time for one last glance Just a reminder, nothing fades away with memories grasping I found the road and it wasn't simply shown I didn't know that it existed 'til I made that fateful visit to the source Bowed down to find the hands of destiny were but my own Only I could find out what they couldn't teach me Looking at your mind I am reminded of a time Positively happened though I really wish it hadn't Finally found a clue, finger pointing right at you You chose not to ignore it, simply looked for something more It wasn't hard to hear the knocking, but you blocked it with your silence The departure was forever, and now I'll have to live without it too Lost inside I'm just trying to find myself here, please forgive me
3.
Time has passed my fears again Passed impending doom away Time has dried my tears so long, as far as I can see In day the smile will remain natural upon me At night the crying flows and no one is the wiser again Another morning to my surprise Again forgotten what slept me Though finally I am not falling now I'm learning how the game has stayed I hold the theories incomplete And every day I will repeat The pattern known all too well Nonsense not decode
4.
Stored for the amendments to your life Like time has turned time's tables Leaving a sparkling bargain brings fortune Like forging your survival Your fate created clean But I will deny your myth's testimony Survival I thought mine That memories within, never again would call And never would I fall for the lines Leading my destruction until now And are still to come I swear I'd seen your god somewhere Where will we kneel when we have only tarnished idols? For fortune offered only once is not know for sure And I will forgive 'til my deathbed as long as I am able To forget the life of past time and again The shadows of your inspiration friend I never will forget you, but I can try My only defense left These haunts by you before And are still to come
5.
Speaking in tongues as I see Lips move, sound missing Decipher you I can't Your era a silent film mystery To the words of another song Whisper the second best coming Described general possibilities Sing loud the lasting victory This time like a shrieking sourfly Flying high as a laughing liar Lying like the leaving trees Frost deposits fuel for rebirth
6.
I can't explain how feelings can change again and again The world is strange and I am amazed just to be living I'll try to find my faith if I can believe that God has a plan But I'm afraid I don't wanna die just to be born again You are star on a rock in the sky You are only starting to shine The world is strange and I am amazed just to see you living You are beautiful and I would fly just to see you again We are finally losing our sense We are drunk and stupid and deaf Heart on the line as you're driving away And you'll drive, and you'll drive on I can't explain how feelings can change again and again I fear the day when all I can say I've already said You are beautiful and I would fly for you every time The world is strange and I amazed just to be living
7.
I see your heart clearer when you're pointing at it I see the mirror and I wanna shatter it I see a new day, your seasons change I see a new night, I see a new day I see your heart clearer when you're pointing at it I see the mirror and I wanna shatter it I see a new day, your seasons change I see a new night, I see a new day I see the sun now, I see the fog fading I see the touch that has separated us I see your heart clearer when you're pointing at it I see the mirror and I wanna shatter it If I have one wish I'd have bright lights at the bottom of a dark ride
8.
I'm locked beside you I'm not selling things for what they're worth There's no more time to wait for rain to come When there is none left I'm living day to day, room to room and nights to cry I can see the future it's just like today but one day later To race the sun, fire dance around us To face the time when there's no faces facing back I'll wait it out, acceptance of the execution One more time to patronize the last left waiting
9.
The Saviors 01:22
I am at a loss for words this time Said that there was truth and that would never be How it could arrest us momentarily I am not about to be sacrificed Just to watch it crumble all again It all sounds good when you never say it When you never say Lie in this sun bed with me and Lie of all your falsehood stories I've got an idea you will never hear It's the mighty cause of your nightmares I cannot restore these flaws ingrained into every flesh I had lied silent all this time You were there all along and you never saw
10.
An hour in the sun is more than thanks enough for those locked away The nightmares have to end sometime The break is casual, the waiting always greater The seasons sail, faster to the depths of time A vanished blur, not concluded simply ended In the deepest secrets where the light will never reach We are protected by the unknown The slumber serves eternal hibernation never greater Giving no more thoughts to walks where there is danger to breathing There will be no more requests Refuse the kindness of the master, just surrender The tables turn but it's always back to where they started The dead arose only to die again by choice of course The sleeping started to awake Only to take one final breath
11.
Time Alone 01:08
Fall not far from paranoia, I'm only trying to sweat through a smokescreen Gasped fear as I have glimpsed great danger And no prayers are there offered for the faithless And time alone won't save a wish we weren't careful with How can we only hope in the negative I strain my eyes to erase the sky For the pain is in waiting for time alone Cry not for a plan to bring all tragedies together Cry not for time alone
12.
As You Run 01:01
Where will go? Time is flying fast As you run Where will you hide from yourself? When will you trust no one else?
13.
I wanna Rolex and a cell phone and a new home with no roommates Just a hot plate and a shitter and a t-bone tofu steak I want a car I can't afford and a joint the size of California's shore I wanna holiday I wanna get paid I want a hot tub and a wet bar and a wet dream and a dream car With no fuckin' dream catcher on the rear view Whiskey straight, straight razor and a razor blade and a mountain of snow I wanna holiday I wanna get paid I wanna stay up late on a sweaty date on Christmas eve I wanna holiday I wanna get paid
14.
Take me to the future, now take me to the sea Take me to the few unchewed fruits on the tree Take me now, slam me down, take it off slowly Take me to the church with a ring in my hand Take me to the church so I can kneel on command Take me now, slam me down, take it off slowly Take me to the far, take me to the deep Take me to bed so I never have to sleep Take me to the future, now take me to the sea Take me to the few unchewed fruits on the tree Take me now, slam me down, take it off slowly
