I'm locked beside you
I'm not selling things for what they're worth
There's no more time to wait for rain to come
When there is none left
I'm living day to day, room to room and nights to cry
I can see the future it's just like today but one day later
To race the sun, fire dance around us
To face the time when there's no faces facing back
I'll wait it out, acceptance of the execution
One more time to patronize the last left waiting

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
