Who will be the last to hear the stories told of old lost days?
And old long age is coming carrying away our last escape
Passing to the past, only time for one last glance
Just a reminder, nothing fades away with memories grasping
I found the road and it wasn't simply shown
I didn't know that it existed 'til I made that fateful visit to the source
Bowed down to find the hands of destiny were but my own
Only I could find out what they couldn't teach me
Looking at your mind I am reminded of a time
Positively happened though I really wish it hadn't
Finally found a clue, finger pointing right at you
You chose not to ignore it, simply looked for something more
It wasn't hard to hear the knocking, but you blocked it with your silence
The departure was forever, and now I'll have to live without it too
Lost inside
I'm just trying to find myself here, please forgive me

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
