An hour in the sun is more than thanks enough for those locked away
The nightmares have to end sometime
The break is casual, the waiting always greater
The seasons sail, faster to the depths of time
A vanished blur, not concluded simply ended
In the deepest secrets where the light will never reach
We are protected by the unknown
The slumber serves eternal hibernation never greater
Giving no more thoughts to walks where there is danger to breathing
There will be no more requests
Refuse the kindness of the master, just surrender
The tables turn but it's always back to where they started
The dead arose only to die again by choice of course
The sleeping started to awake
Only to take one final breath

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
