I can't explain how feelings can change again and again
The world is strange and I am amazed just to be living
I'll try to find my faith if I can believe that God has a plan
But I'm afraid I don't wanna die just to be born again
You are star on a rock in the sky
You are only starting to shine
The world is strange and I am amazed just to see you living
You are beautiful and I would fly just to see you again
We are finally losing our sense
We are drunk and stupid and deaf
Heart on the line as you're driving away
And you'll drive, and you'll drive on
I can't explain how feelings can change again and again
I fear the day when all I can say I've already said
You are beautiful and I would fly for you every time
The world is strange and I amazed just to be living

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
